Imaginary North was founded in May 2022 in Toronto, Ontario, as a home for distinctive and boundary-pushing ambient music. Since its inception, the label has cultivated a forward-thinking catalogue that challenges conventions and celebrates experimentation. Through its flagship Imaginary North Transmission series, the imprint has collaborated with more than 150 artists worldwide, building a diverse and vibrant community united by a shared pursuit of imaginative sound and atmosphere.
