IKSRE 'expansions' [CS]

Written, recorded and produced in a solar-powered caravan the remote, Aussie outback “expansions" is equal parts intimate travel journal and expansive, ambient journey; an aural adventure to some of the wildest places on earth - over 20,000km through the Western Australian coastline, Northern Territory and Central Australian outback.

Produced with a bare bones setup of electric guitar, OP-1 field synth, SM58 mic, two small singing bowls and a selection of guitar pedals - every song was written off grid in the confines of Phoebe's caravan after an awe inspiring moment. From swimming with whale sharks at Nyinggulu/Ningaloo, to listening to swimming in ancient gorges in Karijini National Park and listening to the sunset chorus at Kakadu National Park, each track captures these iconic places like a multi dimensional postcard from the wilderness.
