Sons of Melancholia 'Hyperliquid' [CS]

Sons of Melancholia is a project of David Nizet, a Belgian electronic music producer operating under various aliases since the 90s. Now dedicated almost exclusively to experimental music, his new album ‘Hyperliquid’ is an introspective journey through atmospheric soundscapes, immersive drones, obscured textures and treated field recordings. The album takes the listener through varied sonic environments, from the light, airy and expansive to the submerged, hypnotic and contemplative. The compositions display a level of refinement and restraint, balanced with an ever-present emotional undercurrent, underscoring David’s experience and dedication to his craft.
