Spanning more than ten countries across multiple continents, from Iceland to Japan, Ukraine to Brazil, Spain to the United States, Canada to the United Kingdom and beyond, this collection brings together Past Inside the Present artists from across the label’s first eight years. Across 50 tracks and nearly 120 minutes, brief transmissions, fading gestures, and understated expressions come together to form an expansive document of ambient sound in miniature.

Intentionally drawn from some of the shorter and more understated works by the artists represented, these pieces offer brief glimpses into their individual sound while contributing to the interconnected PITP collective. Taken together, they reflect the ways music, community, and shared passion can converge into a broader collective body of sound, celebrating nearly a decade of ambient works that have helped shape the identity and spirit of Past Inside the Present.
