Following last year's debut LP, Almost An Island, released on Past Inside the Present, the trio of James Bernard, Cynthia Bernard, and Kenneth James Gibson return with the three-song EP Few Words Are Enough. The collection includes the title track, previously available only on Bandcamp as part of PITP's year-end compilation, along with an extended ambient version and a brand-new piece, Gift of Place, featuring the enveloping textures of taishogoto harp and lap steel. Picking up where Almost An Island left off, the EP continues the trio's exploration of ambient Americana, dream pop and cinematic textures, calling forth vast landscapes and the beauty of the open road. The group is currently at work on their second full-length album, slated for release on Past Inside the Present in 2027.
