36 'The Box' [6LP Boxset]

'The Box' contains the remastered albums Hypersona, Hollow, and Lithea, in addition to Orphans which is a curated selection of compilation tracks, most for the first time on vinyl, as well as arrangements exclusive for this boxset. Entire set spans across six vinyl records, housed in three gatefold jackets with their own unique artwork.

Each record has a unique vinyl color. The pressing plant were instructed to randomize vinyl colors so that each boxset is completely unique. No boxset shares the same colored vinyl.

The records are housed in a 12.88 x 12.88 x 1.5 matte heavyweight box with spot gloss printing on side and cover. The rigid, archival quality box features a .058 caliper white chip interior. Each album is housed in a semigloss, gatefold jacket. Each record is placed in a black, anti-static inner sleeve with a .75 gauge archival polypropylene lining. Each boxset is silver foiled stamped/numbered. Each gatefold jacket is shrinkwrapped and the entire box is shrinkwrapped.

All tracks have been fully re-mixed by 36, from the original project files. Hypersona, Hollow, Lithea, and Orphans were carefully and beautifully remastered at Black Knoll Studio by Rafael Anton Irisarri.

Originally written as a triptych, The Box showcases an incredibly eclectic, deeply emotional range of tracks, bridged together by that optimistic melancholy, which has since become the hallmark of the 36 sound.

Each track has been painstakingly re-mixed by 36 from the original studio project files and then mastered by Rafael Anton Irisarri, for the absolute highest sound quality. Presented for the first time together in a stunning 6LP box set, it also features exclusive artwork and extensive liner-notes by Dennis himself.

For fans of ambient music, this is something of a holy grail and we are incredibly proud to be able to share it with you.
